Formed in the summer of 2015, the team organized its first scrimmage in October and began the 2016 inaugural season as members of the Idaho Contact Football League.



Following the 2018 season, the Juggernauts rebranded as the Eastern Oregon Eagles for 2019 but suffered the first winless season since the team formed, and failed to score a single point during ICFL play.  The Eagles would join with Boise players from the Savage and Aztecs for a November 9th "Turkey Bowl" game with the East Idaho Wolfpack.  The joint team would win the exhibition scrimmage 14-6.

The Eagles would provide the host venue for an ICFL versus Pacific Northwest Football League challenge with the western Oregon teams.  The Eagles would draw the Crook County Mountain Men from Bend, Oregon in the night cap falling 36-8 as the ICFL was swept losing three games and forcing a scoreless tie in another of the four-game day in Ontario.  The next week, the State of Oregon shut down for Covid-19 cancelling the football season.  The State of Idaho, however, lifted restrictions in the summer, and the ICFL restarted the season in June, and with the Eagles on the state line, were able to arrange games and play once more.  On June 20th the Eagles got a win over the Gem State Guardians, the first victory since May 19th, 2018.  Eastern Oregon would finish 1-5 in 2020.

Eastern Oregon had suffered five-sraight losing seasons and was 1-10 in the last two seasons and began discussing yet another brand change.  At the same time, the Treasure Valley Trojans were looking at shutting down even though they had been a fairly competitve program in the ICFL.  The Eagles had announced they would become the Knights prior to a meeting between the administrators of the two franchises and an agreement was struck.  The "Knights" (Eagles) would join forces with the Trojans, blending players and staff and play the 2021 season as the Treasure Valley Trojan-Knights.

The blended team would finish 5-4 in 2021 and both franchises shut down.
