The Arlington Naval Air Reserves team played in the Northwest Service Football League at the close of the Second World War and dominated the 1945 season until a battle with the Sand Point Blue Bombers in an epic service teams battle of undefeated squads.  The Bombers won 19-6 and a hoped rematch was thwarted when the CASU draft forced the break up of the team with the season ending with a 6-1 record.
