In 2006 as Dick Seuss was forming the Pacific Northwest Football Conference, Odell Barnes began the process of forming the Bothell Bulldogs in an effort to represent the east Seattle region.  Following his presentation to the board, the team was voted in and built into the 2006 schedule.  Just prior to the start of the season however, an insurance check from the team failed to clear due to insufficient funds and it was learned that the team had not ordered equipment or uniforms.  Too late to rearrange the schedule, the Bulldogs franchise was shut down and the PNFC awarded forfeits to their scheduled opponents in the event replacement competition could not be secured on the dates required.
