In 2014, former Lane County Dragon leaders Eric Murray and Devon Sisk got together to try and restart a team in the Roseburg area.  Murray had attempted a new venture shortly after the Dragons shut down with the Cottage Grove Gryphons for the 2008 season, but the team did not make it to the season due in part, to heavy resistance from the local nine-man league.

The Rampage petitioned the Pacific Football League for independent games and were slated to face some of the best in the league.  The scores showed it being outscored 294-10 during their all-away game slate.

During the April 26th contest, Victor Suarez severely injured his C5 vertebre and was paralyzed from the chest down.

At the end of the season, management could no longer run the team from Eugene and it was decided to shut down operations.

The Douglas County Timberwolves would be spawned soon after, joining the nine-man ranks in 2016 before spending the 2019 season in the Pacific Northwest Football League.  Suarez would be a frequent attendee on the sidelines for the Wolves serving as a defensive coaching assistant and the team continued efforts to raise funds for those dealing with spinal cord injuries.
